Ed is a lifelong member of Immaculate Conception parish and a graduate of Immaculate Conception School. He graduated from Msgr. McClancy Memorial High School in Jackson Heights and received his Bachelor’s degree in Social Studies from St. John’s University. Ed attended Fordham University where he was granted his Masters degree in Religious Education. Ed is also a graduate of the Pastoral Institute of the Brooklyn Diocese and has been officially commissioned by the diocese as a lay minister with a concentration in Adult Faith Formation.

Ed has been involved in teaching Religion and Theology for thirty years. He has taught on both the high school and college levels and is currently an adjunct instructor in the Department of Theology at St. John’s University. He has taught courses in Scripture, Sacraments, Church History, Morality and the History of Doctrine.

Ed has also been active in the parish and for the past three years has been active in developing, facilitating and leading adult education courses at Immac. He is an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, a member of the Faith Formation Committee and a member of the St. Paul Media Group.
